Velu is the care guide designed inside Veluity. Velu is intended to help people understand possible next steps, prepare questions, and find nearby care options based on Veluity's care data.

Velu is an AI guide, not a doctor

Velu will not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, replace medical professionals, or provide emergency care. Velu is designed to guide, not decide for you.

Emergency symptoms

When symptoms may be urgent or life threatening, Velu should guide people toward emergency care. If you think something may be an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Care suggestions

When Velu suggests nearby options, those suggestions should be based on Veluity's care data so people see real places, real details, and clearer next steps. Information should still be confirmed directly with the provider.

Limits of AI

AI can misunderstand symptoms, context, urgency, language, and personal circumstances. Velu may provide incomplete or incorrect information. You should not rely on Velu as your only source of medical guidance.

Professional medical care comes first

Velu is meant to help people feel more prepared before seeking care. It is not a replacement for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, emergency responders, or other licensed professionals.

Updates

As Velu develops, Veluity may update this AI Safety Notice to explain new features, safety rules, and user protections.
